Piripi’s older brother Augs is off to Texas to follow his country music dream, and Pele has sent Piripi along to find a mahi. Meanwhile Piripi just wants to be a kaupoi!
But like most things with Piripi nothing ever goes according to plan, and there lies the real kaupoi adventure.
Part way through the boys haerenga they decide to head up to Montana and spend some time with the whanau from the Blackfeet tribe in Browning.

They’ve been preparing all week for his 21st at Waiparapara Marae. As per normal Piripi’s not phased, in fact he’s bascially living his best life doing nothing!

Fed up with Piripi doing nothing, mum Pele has somehow convinced Piripi’s older brother Auggie to take him with him to Texas where he plans to pursue his country music dream. As for Piripi the plan is for him to find a mahi. But first he must become a kaupoi!
Episode 3

Dancehalls and the twostep are big in Texas. Piripi and Augs decide to take a lesson, but unfortunately they don’t have partners, so they have dance together. That is until Piripi is struckdown by cupid and plans to relocate to Texas! #twinkletoes #tuffgig #mandown
Episode 4
Finally Piripi decides its time to find mahi. He heads off to the GP ranch owned by the Pogue whanau who farm Bison. They’re keen to share their indigneous ways in terms of kaitiakitanga and getting Piripi to help them around the ranch. He also catches up with Augs who’s singing at an open mic night in Dallas.
